Depends what team turns up.
If last nights efforts will win, if like the previous 3 games lose.
Palace are so hard to predict.
It really is a must win match for Villa if they dont i dont think they have any chance.
I think a Palace win 2-1.

I think we,l beat them 2-0. All the pressure on them to win and they are poor at the back and up front.

We play well against Chelsea, and imagine that if we play that way against Villa, we should win handily.

In reality, I can't imagine us scoring. Possible mental mistakes from Sakho and/or Guaita.

Zaha doesn't take anyone on. It's not like Luka, Kouyate, or JM is going to unlock any defense. So who's going to score? Benteke? No. Ayew? I guess he's the only chance.

Villa is looking at us as their best chance for 3 points.

Safest bet for a result is: Villa 1 - 0 Palace.

2017 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Middlesboro
2018 Jan. (Sako) Palace 1 - 0 Burnley
2019 May (Batshuayi, Batshuayi, OG, Van Aanholt, Townsend) Palace 5 - 3 Bournemouth
2020 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Newcastle

A reminder for all the glumsters.

There are six teams below us. Apart from Villa we have played them all twice. Our record?

Played 11, WON 8, drawn 3 (I'll leave you to work out how many we lost!)

I don't expect us to lose against Villa.

Oh come on doombear if you must insist on patronising those who are not too positive about our recent performances, please, at least use a word that exists! I think Boris might have used it once before but that don’t mean a lot.

Your facts are indisputable however, although I still don’t fancy our chances much and wouldn’t be too disappointed if we do lose given it will drag both Watford and West Ham back into it.

i fancy Aston Villa to win then beat west ham in the final game of the season to send them down

A win for Villa certainly makes the relegation battle more interesting.

We'll be safe after tonight anyway, so we should play the fringe/young players.

I believe A.Villa signed 17 players this season.
Their Net Spend has been nigh on £140 Mill and they could of course be relegated!

Apropos their game with us, A.Villa will be under real pressure, we are under no pressure at all.

Agreed,Villa will be under intense pressure following a very bad re start and with Roy setting us up not to lose,we will pick them off on the counter and secure the points.

I was going to say 'doomsters' but that's too close to home given my chosen nom de plume.

Actually I would like Villa to stay up (I can be at Villa Park in less than half an hour so a nice local game for me (Was looking forward to going - and to Wolves) unfortunately, the Chinese flu took care of that. Although I'd like Villa to stay up and wouldn't mind too much if they beat us (if it helped to send West Ham or Watford down) I don't think they will beat us.
