Sadly,we have made Leicester, who were struggling before they played us,look like Real Madrid and in the game before that, even a piss poor Burnley managed to beat us.

My head says we will lose 2 or 3 nil but I also know we are capable of a shock and winning. Il watch with no hope and pray.

I hope its not like last seasons diabolical performance. They had injuries yet in a Roy masterclass we didnt go into Chelseas half until the 85th minute. The most passive pathetic Palace performance i have ever seen. Ive got a feeling it will be deja vu though but with Chelsea winning by a bigger margin.

2 or 3 nil to Chelsea. I think we’ll be lucky to get as many as nil.

After Palace go 0-3 down, Hodgson substitutes McArthur for McCarthy on 64 minutes, then Benteke for Townsend on 80 minutes. Palace have their first shot on goal on 85 minutes which doesn't trouble Chelsea's under 15 goalkeeper. At the after-match interview Frank Lampard can't keep a straight face and bursts out laughing after saying that this is always a tough place to come.

What a bunch of pessimists, Chelsea are not that great at the moment, we can only improve on recent results.... hopefully 1-1. Chelsea have won 3 out of their last 4 games.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

So as others have said, right now I care as much as the players, so 4 - 0 Chelsea. We will have 2 shots on target though so enough to say that we gave it a go.

Two defensive errors you wouldnt see in pub football (one to Sakho and then Ward or Cahill take a turn) and a goal that Hennessey fails to save sparking 8 pages devoted to whether or not Guaita would have. We fail to get over the half way line in another Premier league record. A Palace fan wakes up in their living room, wondering why Chelsea are playing until it is pointed out to them that they nodded off halfway through the Leicester game. This would usually pass unremarked for a Roy Hodgson team but for the fact that the Leicester game was in 2017. All other Palace fans admit to being ever so slightly jealous.
