This needs to be put in the context of a very tough league and Roy putting faith in those who are tried and tested.Imagine the outrage if he blooded several youngsters who turned out not to be quite up to it and results were impacted accordingly.

That said, I do recognise the arguments put forward - especially around Riedewald who looked a top talent when he played a run of games - not in his normal position - earlier in the season. If the talk about PVA wanting to move on at the end of his contract next summer are correct, Riedewald looks like a very decent replacement.

I agree but I'm on about if we are virtually safe. Say we are 10 points clear with 15 point to play for all round. Ok oldham but like Leicester that was exceptional. If we still need points the pressure is on so youngsters will give 100%. If we are mathematically safe mentally they will know it's a run out.
