Very good news. I often question his team choices but as I said to a mate prior to the Brighton match: "Mind you I think Roy knows a little more about football and the current state at Crystal Palace than I do" ... as he does 99.999999% of all the posters on this site.

I’ve said it before and I will say it again.

Harry Kane taking corners....

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Best signing the club could’ve hoped for in terms of stability.
Who else would palace honestly attract who’d do a better job?
Short term memory for a lot of fans who were buzzing after our attritional style of football got us 3 points at the Amex on Saturday - don’t think I’m alone in saying would rather have won that 1-0 then lost 5-4 as we did under Pardew’s exciting football away at Swansea.

Although we are a mid table team, think palace are now one of the most difficult to beat clubs in the league, rarely take a hiding and on our day can match 17 of the other 19 teams in the league whilst saying we didn’t park the bus...... some fans don’t know what they have until it’s gone....... 🦅🦅

The reason Parish has offered Roy a new contract is plain for all to see. Parish will not give Roy any money to spend,or be it a pittance , where as if Parish , appointed a more high profile manager ,that manager would be knocking on his door for millions for new players every five minutes . Roy I am sorry to say is a cheap safe option and causes Parish little grief . Plus we aint got a pot to piss in any way

How depressing - more of the same for another season.

Agreed, this is excellent news.

Right now with the uncertainty of our American owners and the stadium we need stability and Roy brings us this in buckets. He has done an excellent job considering we are lacking in certain areas of the team.

As and when we have new owners it maybe time to look for another manager but right now with the owners unwilling to spend money I don't see an obvious replacement.

Well done Roy you earned it.

Great news. I’m delighted with this. Heading towards our best ever finish in the Premier league. Get a few decent signing in the summer and we will be flying.

As with all teams in this division outside the top 6 and possibly Everton and Leicester now, every other team are trying to avoid relegation.

The last 2 years we have always looked relatively safe all season. That is mainly down to Roy and his ability in getting the most he can from a squad that has little investment in it.

The football may not be pretty, but see where that is getting Brighton at the moment.

Fans need to be realistic.

My only concern would mean that I expect that we are going to see very little spent on the squad again next season.

You get the impression that Roy would have to drop dead or go senile before Parish gets rid of him. I suppose it brings stability which is no bad thing but I hope Roy can be a bit more inventive in his tactics and team selections next season as it really has been a hard slog watching this type of football.

Excellent news for us, our most successful manager in the Premier League.
