us checked the dates of the Swiss tour last year and it was in the first half of July. If that's the case then we will miss out. A real shame.

I just need to know that dates because we wouldn't be able to fly until they have broken up from school (the missus works in a school otherwise I wouldn't worry about taking the boys out for a week). I know a lady, an old family friend, who has been resident in Enoggera region of Brisbane for many years.The charming lady must be in her late 80s.I am sure should wouldn't have any complaints if a fellow old creakey stayed with her for the Palace games in the region!

Your post got me thinking of the Aussies that have played for us down the years. I could think of a fair few. You could pick a strong defence and midfield from that lot. No doubt I have missed a couple. Mile Jedinak On an aside I remember Nick Carle absolutely bossing a game against us at Selhurst and I was delighted when we signed him. He never reached those heights for us unfortunately.
