Set-up and personnel will be key. I think Roy will go for the draw and if he does that will be the best we can expect. However, if he decides that the fans need to be kept onside and plays a more adventurous line-up we might just get our first win over them in (I think) five attempts. I'll wait till 11.30 Saturday before making a final prediction.

I have been in conversation tonight with a Brighton supporter who is actually a nice chap and he is not confident at all that Brighton will attain all the points. He is actually going to the game. I fear a 1-0 defeat but I wouldn't be surprised if the match was drawn.I cannot see us defeating them.

They are yet to unleash their newly joined, albeit not newly signed, Argentinian Scotsman who, if NSC is to be believed, is the next Lionel Messi. Be afraid, be very afraid...
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Hopefully we can push these gimps closer to relegation for a change rather than helping them out. Would love to see Brighton tears at the end of the season. If we’re determined like yesterday then just maybe. Edited by Rudi Hedman (23 Feb 2020 6.16pm) Personally I like Brighton being in the same division as us. Adds spice to it. As always dreaming of thumping them. 3-0 would be nice, but reality tells me best would be 2-0.. Can only ever contemplate 3 points against Brighton.

It’s time we beat this lot, they’re on a bad run they’ll be nervy, if we can keep it tight for half an hour I fancy Wilf to open them up. We know he gets fired up against Brighton. We always go on a decent run in the last few months of the season. Be great if Newcastle was the start of that.

If he starts with (the undroppable and unsubbable) Luka Miliovejic we can say at once the manager is going for a draw. Same goes if he starts Benteke. If however, he starts Townsend, Ayew, Tosun we might give them a game. Let the two Macs establish a liasion with perhaps Kouyate or (shock horror) Meyer and we will be more productive. We can't say we have turned the corner until we start scoring from open play. At least if the captain plays for goodness sake stop him taking free kicks and corners!

They know a player down on the South Coast. Here's what happened to 3 stalwarts who were definitely going to smash us, and become stars according to their fans; Bridcutt -- Lincoln City
Buckley** -- Bolton * was going to "get" us
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |
