Think it will be Hodgson if we stay up or DF if we get relegated - money will be short whatever division we are in next season?

I like Slaven Bilic and thought he was unfortunate to get the boot by West Ham. Seems unlikely he would leave WBA if he gets them promoted though. The Brentford manager has also shown solid progression and could see us as a step up if Brentford don't get promoted, but I doubt Parish would see him as being experienced enough. There's not a lot of obvious options though, so if Roy does leave this summer it will be interesting to see which direction the club go in.

Bielsa teams play great football he would be welcomed by our supporters I think. I actually think his style of play is better suited to the Prem rather than the Championship as it is very intense but draining on the players especially his double training days and Leeds ran out of steam last season and it looks like they could do again. Those extra 8 games in the Champ make a big difference.

It's an interesting one.
Whoever comes in would have to be prepared to work with Freedman as Director of Football.
His role at Palace seems quite an influential one.
Many managers like to have total control and are not comfortable working with the DOF model.
It may be that the club are looking to promote from within which is risky as there's a lack of experience and no track record.
Outside the club Parish has previously spoken highly of Hughton who is available.
This may concern some as he's cut from a similar mould to Hodgson.

What is Dyche's next career move if not to Palace? I can see him at Palace and both sides benefiting from that. He might like one or two other clubs, but will they tolerate his somewhat dour football for 3 or 4 seasons? I say not.

We are a smart risk for him, he's a smart risk for us. For his career, he needs to leave Burnley.

if RH decides not to renew or the club decide not to offer him a renewal (or even end the existing arrangement early) with all this talk of no money it really has to be DF as the new manager because he has done the job previously & is already on the payroll. Maybe we would then see Mark Bright as DOF ?
