This isn't the point. The point is, PVA did get injured and no only did Jairo come in, but his form was so good he won player of the month.

You play the players who are in form and delivering results.

That's not the point. He did get injured, Riedwald has come in and done a good job so should be starting today.

Typical back to the same old names again.

Getting really sick of Roy and his biased towards set name players.

Clearly staying with the same system that failed at Southampton.

Jairo been shafted again what does this guy have to do I would of tried him central midfield.

Time for Roy to get his eyes checked we have been so poor on the right side yet he is still playing the same way with Ayew their and people wonder why we don't really create anything well their is one of the answers.

If we get a point out of this it's good result.

I really feel for Reidewald but it's no surprise Van Aanholt is back in the team. Roy has got his favourites and they will always play week in week out whether they are in form or not.

Finally a decent lineup with a proper bench.
Of course it would be better with Townsend on the wing and Ayew or Tosun where Benteke is, but Townsend is not match fit.
Other than that we are good enough to start getting results again.

For what it is worth I would have played Jario instead of McCarthy - think midfield rather than left back is his best position.

But I agree Jario deserves to be rewarded for his performances over the last month or so when we were down to the bare bones.

Perhaps today is the day where Benteke finally rediscovers his form - here's hoping..!!

Either way a decent team and a strong bench.

I'm still going 3-1 Palace..!!
