Our home form against the Saints has been poor recently. Thought our performance last season against them was woeful.
Time to put it right; assuming no further injuries and that we can put out the same team that played City (Or possibly Ward in for Kelly) then I think we can win 1-0 or even 2-0.

Form is not clever at home.

4 points from our next 2 games both at home would be a good return I think but both Southampton and Sheff Utd are playing well so wouldn't be surprised with 2 points from these games.

Could well be another 1-1 tomorrow night

24th and 27th Nov 1990.
I went to both of them.
Richard shaw scored an own goal inside a minute in one of them.
At the Dell where you sat below the pitch in the first 3 rows.
The good old days.

That end was something else! I find it really sad that all these stadiums have gone, lots of character has been wiped away from clubs, hope we keep ours.

I have sat at 'The Dell' as well as supporting our team from the 'Away' terrace behind the goal.
There was a feeling that it was a small pitch but a professional I know who has played there didn't view it in this light.
Understand the site of the 'Dell' is now a housing development with each block named after a Southampton player - Surely there must be one named after Le Tissier.

There was an ancient wooden stand where at half time we thought it was on fire. Then we realised we were standing over the gents. It wasn't smoke rising through the gaps in the floorboards! The Arthur - luxury!
