Very hard game to predict because they are a better team than last season. We really missed a trick not going in for Mooy. He is what we lack in midfield, energy, can pass well and doesn't mind a shot either. We will have to shut him down

They are different in terms of their style but they were 2 pts better off at the same stage last season than they are now.

They spent some £60 Mill in pre-season on Webster, Clarke, Trossard and Maupay.Mooy arrived on a season-long loan.

Trossard, Maupay & Mooy look dangerous asa unit. We will need to be alert & hopefully play with some passion, espically going forwards. If we do then 2-1 to us; if we paly like last season its another loss, sadly

Wow that's different!

Webster appears to be their weak link at the back. Attack him and we should win.

If they set up like least season, and like Watford on Saturday, then we wont win. However I think they will push forward leaving space at the back to attack.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

One of those ball-playing central defenders whose style in the past has been compared to that of John Stones. It suits his game to play alongside a more traditional stopper.I know that a few years ago, Steve Cotterill rated him highly and he might still do.

In terms of weak links in the Brighton defence, Alzate is no right-back and didn't look comfortable there against Wolves.I suspect they will not have him playing there against us.

^^^^^ THIS ^^^^^

Apart from Wilf, who in our current team/squad TRULY understand the M23 rivalry? This is the game, as far as fans are concerned, is one half of games per season that we ALL look forward to & 'need' to win above all other games.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

That's only because they beat us easily at the Gaymex thanks to a very very poor performance. Surely we can't play that badly again?

I predict 1-1.

it is a good job that we are playing at home. recent events indicate that should we be kettled and taunted by Brighton supporters at the Amex, we might be in trouble should we ask any of their supporters if their boyfriends know where they are.

Albion apparently gave a strong performance at Liverpool, narrowly losing 2-1 and secured a good 2-1 away win at Arsenal last week.A useful point against Wolves on Saturday.
They have also just gone potty by extending Potter's contract to 2025 to award him for bringing a new expansive style of play.
As they being to hit some form,I would be delighted to get any result against this arrogant shower and bring them back to reality.

Very hard to call. I'd take the point to continue our unbeaten run. But I'd love a win with Dunk or Duffy scoring a last minute OG.

I agree with others, this could go either way. I'm going to go with a patient 1-0.

That will be something to look forward to then

Palaces A game is better than Brighton's a game . We have 3 clean sheets behind us and an 8 day rest . Brighton have had ONE decent result against a poor Arsenal side in recent weeks .
They leak goals , everything pointing to a comfortable win if only we can get our shooting boots on .

2-0
