This. Hopefully there will be a thumbs up from Roy before spending on players he may not want. Perhaps it will be better if Max Meyer leaves on loan as well. Thinking we have several players over 100k a week sitting on the bench is a bit maddening.

Seeing as Roy doesn't play most of Dougie's purchases I would say that its no loss if he leaves

Any players that Freedman has identified as potential signings would be already on the clubs radar.

If he leaves before January, I don't see it making a huge amount of difference.

And maybe once he has gone we will be able to get an idea of whether or not he was doing a good job. At the moment the overall perception ( mine as well ) is that he isn't.

Totally agree with this

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Agree no compelling evidence he's done much positive in his latest role with us

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

What if he DOESN'T get it?

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

It depends if Ayew, Cahill, Kouyate and Guaita are Dougie purchases. Given they've been four of our better performers this season perhaps Dougie hasn't done such a bad job on a shoe string budget.

Guaita fair enough.
Anyone that watches match of the day would be well aware of the other 3, they haven’t been scouted.

This might be on the cards as Roy looks to extend his contract at Palace. Might be best if DF does leave, not sure why he came back, think he was just at a loose end.

I am amazed that Hearts would ever consider him....

Freedman's career & standing have gone (further) backwards since he returned. A great DoF is getting gems in. You can't say Freedman is doing that, and budget is only part of it.

A move to a league like the SPL to run a club like Hearts seems a huge opportunity. Fail again and he'd surely have to drop to League 1 or League 2.

I know Watford have had a poor start but I do envy their ability to bring in new players.
The combo of US owners and Parish doesn’t provide any transfer market savinness- and for this we are struggling (and spaffing a lot of cash).

One of the best clubs for recruitment are Brentford. Get their recruitment team in, whatever the cost, I say
