I think it's a sign of how good we've got it when Schlupp is the fans whipping boy. I understand it; there has to be one and he's not always the best player on the pitch but I think some games he's very effective and the only player in the oppo's half (barring Benteke) who can win the ball in the air. He's also much better at trying to release the bloody ball than some of our from 3.

Roy has his 'Plan A' and sticks to it as he feels this gives the team the best chance of survival which is his sole objective. It really is no surprise that we are a hard watch and I predicted this before the start of the season.Another season of dour football and a season of yet another relegation fight.

Or... another season of low-investment which means we can plough badly needed cash in to youth & training facilities? Worried about the age of our squad though, really we should be lining up replacements one by one, a complete overhaul is risky and with an average age of 29, it's going to happen soon
