Our season was set out before a ball was kicked.

We won't score many goals and so games against the better sides are almost certainly going to end in defeat.

Chelsea ? Palace 0

I can't help think that Lampard will come unstuck and this could be the game that does it ...

Ageing and slow defence.
Unable to defend corners.
Midfield with no creativity.
Zaha not at the top of his game.
Ayew the only forward who can actually score.
No game changers on the bench.

I fear yet another defeat.

Hopefully Cahill will have a point to prove and play a stormer..

On the other hand, we score very few goals from open play and unless we can nick a penalty or two, there's NO hope of any points from this game..

5-0 to Chelsea

We've only had four in 11, same as Man U, so not doing that bad. Think Lampard is doing a fine job at Chelsea but still think we can get something out of this. 1-1. Zaha on the scoresheet.

Well they are taking a panning tonight and Mount has just hobbled off with an ankle injury and may not be fit for Saturday. Tough game in any case and happy with a point, which means 0-0.

That changed fairly quickly. Still stick to 0-0 as they will be goaled out tonight and we are permanently so.

What a fine side Chelsea are, managed by Frank who is doing such an excellent job and defying expectations of many who thought he lacked the ability to do such a great job with his lack of experience.
Unlike our strategy, seems to understand that you have to score goals to win games.
Not looking good on Saturday and feel a 3-0 loss is on the cards.
