Millionaire club on tin pot income

I say again

Where is the money going?

Look in the direction of Delaware...

It's not against a player - it is against a known and contractual amount due from Man Utd on a known future date. Pretty cheap rates in current market.

Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it..

It's a loan against a guaranteed amount of income in the short term. If it's a decent interest rate it's a no brainer from a commercial perspective. Every major business operates cash wise in an overdraft facility so if you can borrow at a decent rate against future income you're foolish not to from a cash flow perspective.

I would suggest that we now have £20m to spend in the transfer window.

If we get a chance therefore to get a decent striker well we can now, whether we sell anyone or not and as such we do not need to sell Wilf or Benteke to raise funds for that new striker and can wait for a good price for both before we sell either or anyone else.

Doesn't this just show,
1) how skint we are
2) how desperate we are

Teams are going to fcuk us over in January & we will fall for it. God, I hope im wrong, what a mess.

Or, it shows that we aren't cash rich but need cash for spending in the January window.

I had never heard of this before but looking into it, it seems to be a practice used by many clubs and should be at a very reasonable interest rate. Certainly nothing to be worried about.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

What is the point of selling Wan B and not getting all of the cash!
Man Utd are hardly brassic.
Jeez - what a crap deal after all if this is true!!!!!

I doubt if any big money transfer are paid in full straight away. A number of our purchases have been made in instalments, its the way football seems to work.
For your information Man Utd are £203m in debt, but they have the largest revenue income, its all just buying on the never never basis

Isn’t £22m also the amount Chelsea want to for Batshuayi? Maybe that’s why we need the money now.

I am a bit puzzled, but what is the news in this? Every club I know discount their credits (don't know if I called it correctly in English) with the bank, it's the normality...

Why do people think this is for January spending? It surely isn’t. It doesn’t make business sense. If it was for January spending then just make this deal in Dec/Jan and start the clock on interest then.

Only reason for doing it now is immediate liquidity issues.
