Good team selection, for an away game. It's a good point....but I think we have to be honest and say that playing defensively at home is probably going to net us more points there.....we are a 'on the break' side.....it'll probably take more than just 'Camarasa' to change that.

Great news that Sakho is nearly back to full fitness. Fair enough to go with the team from last week I guess. Would have been nice to have a bit more central creativity from Meyer or Camarasa... But saying that they couldn't carve out a goal against Colchester so they'll have to take their chance coming off from the bench today. Hope we line up in the same 4-5-1 formation as last week. It'll get wilf much more involved which will benefit us in attack. COYP Edited by samprior (31 Aug 2019 2.45pm) Edited by samprior (31 Aug 2019 2.48pm)

Wouldn't it be a refreshing change if just for once the whinging and moaning about team selection or tactics etc ceased on a match thread until at least the bleddy game has started.

COYP Kouyate has the best first touch in the squad. Dominated last week but I agree with your sentiments about Luca. I would have dropped Macca and replaced him with either Meyer or Camarasa. Looking for a 100% improvement on Tuesday nights debacle.

I hope to see Schlupp up front with Ayew. They had some good chemistry vs Man U and Ayew seemed to read Schlupps knock-downs perfectly and gave us at least 3 good attacks (as well as a goal). If we're going to play hoofball then them two up top might be worth a try.
