I cannot recall the name of the striker, but he had the nickname 'Jigsaw' because he went to pieces in the box. Fitz Hall 'One size'. Edited by Willo (02 Dec 2017 12.10am) I am still laughing at that one. I suspect that could be applied to a number of our strikers over the years.

In my last few jobs job I was called Pikey, Joe Mangel, Mrs Mangel, Big Boss,Lurkio, Lurch When I catch up with my old work colleagues there's: It's very rare I call anyone by their proper name or the other way round. Love a good nickname!
You fed me, you bred me, I'll remember your name. |

A 'teacher' at my old school. Obviously put out to pasture. Seemed to be 110 years old, shuffled down the corridor at a quarter of a mile per year. White hair, half deaf, half blind, half soft in the head. Always seemed to be on death's door. Spoke at a micro-decibel volume. toothless. Wobbly hands, wobbly jaw.
