USA need 5 points to secure win... difficult not to see them gaining these wins easily.

I reckon it could be as much as 8 to 4 for USA based on current form.

Shame for McIlroy who has been immense.

I'd like to see him go out first and play Patrick Reed and rub his piggy nose in it.

Shame for Darren Clarke too.... nice bloke but was made captain at a time when our team strength is waning, too many old duffers like Westwood and Kaymer and very few decent rookies, Pieters and Cabrera-Bello excepted.

I think the rookies have been ok. Wood has done well and Sullivan and Fitzpatrick have been ok but Kaymer and especially Westwood have been woeful

We need 7.5 points so a lot riding on the top four going out. McIlroy, Stenson, Pieters (who has been immense) and Rose. Say 3.5 from them would need 4 out of the remaining 8. I doubt we will do it but srill all to play for

Maybe it does irritate them ... but it's a lot different to some hick Cowboy type shouting out "Git in the water" as McIlroy finishes his drive from the tee.

Patriotic cheering, songs... such as the two groups displayed at the 1st tee was magic.... Bubba Watson's attitude.... all great.

Nasty snidey comments designed to upset our players is a cheap shot and would not be tolerated over here if we tried to do that to the USa team.

I think it is motivating our guys to try harder anyway... especially McIlroy.

Remember it is only a game... not war.

Not Sure if you are just referencing Golf...

But a lot of spectator sports in this country sees our fans behave exactly like this and probably worse.

Booing national anthems, harassing athletes, personal insults etc.

I remember some years ago on the Holmesdale v Leicester in the Cup, Tim Flowers was down with a bad injury...much of the stand chanting "let him die". Always sticks in my mind because a school kid next to me joined in full throttle.

Can't get my head around spending good money to go to any sporting event and carrying on like that. Think it's a sign of the times we live in sadly

As long as they don't get the US police in they should get out alive.

We would probably have to buy a franchise off the Italians but if we could get the FA to enforce their ownership to the rules of football we would be quids in.
