I'm confused. The bloke is clearly very intelligent (or at least good at Trivial Pursuit), so what made him think that confessing to a murder in a book was in any way a good idea. It's not like it would improve the sales figures, as the majority of people have probably never heard of him, much less care. It could only ever end badly. If it was purely to add juiciness to the tome, I'd say working as a rent boy and living on the streets was plenty enough for that (given his 'fans' would largely be the retired who are around to watch afternoon telly) He fell into the all too common trap of underestimating the power of the written word.

Erm. Hate to ruin anyone's hate filled glee, but without a body or witnesses and no name for the victim, I can't see how anyone will get convicted of anything on the basis of an autobiography. Feel free to correct me if you have some expertise in law. Evidence schmevidence. They will take one look at his incredibly smug face and sent him down for hard labour. After punching him soundly and squarly in the (incredibly smug) face. I'll admit to having a sketchy knowledge of legal proceedings.

It is all a big misunderstanding. He just tossed someone off into a canal.

According to reports he was the subject of a European Arrest Warrant, presumably from the Netherlands who you'd suspect looked into the claim in his biography and have probably tied it to a body found around that time. If he did it then it is a cowardly and callous thing to do and he should pay for it. Why though he'd openly state it in his biography, given he is such an intelligent bloke, is beyond stupid.

So, he's bang to rights even before they've factored in the smugness. He's going down with the Irons. I don't suppose Phil 'The Power' Taylor could've been his accomplice could he?

The most shocking aspect of this whole thing is that he actually has a published autobiography. I hope there's some dirt on Daphne too. That little old lady act doesn't wash with me.
