Politicians often aren't likable, although sometimes improve with age. I certainly wouldn't mind her on our side. Trouble is, I am not sure what that is any more. On the side of Britain, hopefully.

Sturgeon seems an excellent politician, much better than Alex Salmond. A shame as I can't stand her nationalist policies. The fat Scottish Tory seems very good too. Can't be easy being a Tory in Scotland. Really? Just another boring socialist who trots out the same student Union drivel

How lovely! To be fair, I often feel the same animosity to Nicky Morgan! Perhaps it's the name Nick To my mind Sturgeon has actually been one of the more pro active politicians since the referendum and is speaking up for her country who resoundly voted to stay in. What's your actual problem with her? She's Scottish!!

I think this could be the end of Sturgeon. She will be under intense pressure to deliver a second referendum by her party yet she knows that the path to independence in this instance is very complicated. Not all EU countries will let Scotland in because of calls for independence in their own countries, the currency issue is very complicated now and there was, despite what she says about the vote in Scotland, a considerable and vocal Brexit splinter group in the SNP. Failure to deliver another referendum will force her out of the leadership and the SNP could split in two. This Brexit vote is great for those of us who detest the careerist politican.

Can we add Tim Farron to the list? The irony that he leads a party with the word 'democrat' in its name would be hilarious if it wasn't so blood pressure raising.

He will survive purely because no one has any faith that he, or anyone, will turn the Lib Dems into an electoral force. They had their chance.
