The dragons seem unnecessary. Always be yourself. Unless you can be a dragon - in which case always be a dragon!

I look like just the sort of person who'd be all over the fantasy genre, but strangely I'm not. Makes me wonder whether there are people out there that look like they are into boxing and drag racing that actually prefer a bit of Warcraft.

I hate warcraft, but am quite into a bit of Game of Thrones and all that (I also hate fantasy fiction which is the most pathetically artless genre in writing after romance). I think its good to divest ones interests into numerous things. That said, people who 'love game of thrones' f**k me right off. Average writer who's only exceptional within a genre of hack writers, because he writes reasonable fiction. Nothing I hate more than people who claim its the 'best thing they've ever read'. Its more or less Le Morte D'Arthur with dragons and foreigners.

The dragons seem unnecessary. I quite like the dragons. One thing I'll say about the series it does do the 'epic' well. The look pretty awesome, in the truest sense on screen. As do the white walkers. Still I can see why people don't like it there is a lot of 'meanwhile in somewhere you don't give a f**k about someone who will be important possibly later on is having breakfast'. Also I met Natalie Dormer a few times in the Purple Turtle in Reading, back in the days before she was famous. Sadly with nothing more to add to that statement.

I used to work with a bloke - 5'4", pretty much spherical, beard you could hide a badger in - in short the absolute spitting image of Gimley the dwarf. Turns out he did "live action D&D" where like minded people dress up and pretend to be in Lord of the Rings. I asked his character, fully expecting the dwarf, but no, he was a Samurai Warrior. Made me wonder if there's a well toned, super fit, muscular Japanese fella somewhere who spends his weekends pretending to be a dwarf!

Of course you can draw a line between "Love Game of Thrones" and "Love the Novels by whatever-his-name Martin" - I love the series, have never read the books (and neither will I)

Warcraft was a really bad example as I played WoW for several years and the only reason I don't still is that it is an insane waste of money.

I wouldn't bother to recommend them, as the series is actually a lot better written and constructed, which oddly some people claim is dumbing down rather than being concise and to the point. It'll be interesting to see how well the books hold up now that the series is racing ahead of them. My guess is, not very well, unless they tell a very different story.

I guess the beauty of all role play is pretending to be something you're not, but I never expected "tall and slim" to be amongst those things people pretended to be.

The EU referendum is totally boring, I couldn't care less, I don't think it makes a blind bit of difference either way, it's a political ideal that only benefits politicians and gives them a purpose to bore us even more and line their pockets I aint voting and I couldn't give a s*** They don't care about you either. In bold is reason to vote is it not?
