I'm not looking for a particular response I want, just interested in opinions. I'm glad I make you laugh though. Spreading happiness and joy ain't a bad thing. Why on earth are we importing teachers from Oz? You can understand teachers wanting to go the other way but why would they come here to work for a pittance, there's not exactly a better quality of life here and we really should be able to generate our own teachers

The reason they move here is that we in the UK are a tolerant bunch in the main. Plus the free housing & benefits isn't a bad draw either. Its the same in the tolerant USA as well.

It's a joke. There's not many of them so no need to worry about it. As someone else said, they all adhere to our culture also. However, instead we let hundreds of thousands of low skilled Romanians and polish in who don't even want to speak our language let alone adhere to our culture. Pretty much the reason I'm voting out. Don't want Turkey to be able to do same as Poland and Romania have. Even if that's 20 years away, it could still happen.

Should we demand they eat a roast on a sunday? Or how about they must get pissed down the pub on a friday?

Speaking our language would be a great start. Mixing with people that aren't just from their country also would help. Basically, in my opinion, when you move to another county you shouldn't try and turn it into a mini version of yours. It's noticeable that those who come over to work as accountants etc are those who mix better and integrate whereas those who come over to do more menial work don't. This is why I also agree with a points system. Edited by cardiff eagle (06 Jun 2016 6.31am)

How do you get people to integrate if they face hostility from locals?

We don't need low skilled workers so see no reason why they should be allowed in freely to live. 2) Bit of an immature point as there is a difference between seeking asylum and emigrating and you know that. Last time I checked Romania and Poland for example weren't war zones. 3) Its not down to us to be responsible for integrating them. It's down to them to integrate. If I moved to Spain I would learn the language, make Spanish friends etc. I think the points system would indirectly help this as professionals are noticeably more integrated than low skilled workers.
