If it was that serious an allergy why did he not have his Epi pen with him ? (that in now way detracts blame from the Resturant owner just may have saved his life is all )

I also believe that the investigation team went in with the Food Standards Agency people and ordered a "nut free" meal as a few of the group had nut allergies. All of the party were served meals containing nuts, AFTER the dude had passed away. So whilst I do dislike health and Safety Nazis, in this case they have done a good job. Some one died a needless death as some shyster was trying to save money! Although in my book the sentence was soft. Based upon the news reports, I agree. He killed one person, could easily have killed that young woman too, and exposed many people to the risk.
If you come to a fork in the road, take it. |

So he had it with him at home presumably but no one to administer it. I bet the owner only does about 2 years.

Quite, I think six years is a bit on the light side, when you consider he had prior warnings for this, and continued to deliberate list nut free curries, that contained nuts.
