They do an applause to negate anyone not respecting the silence.

I'm not normaly an advocate of a minute aplause during a match, but on this occassion do it on 7 minutes (cantona's number)that'll get a debate going as to why its happening.

Why do you want to bring up a debate.... it's been done to death - what else is going to come of it except added interest in a rivalry, you that tribal that you want that?

Tragedies happen - families grieve, community grieve, people learn, life goes on.

This was once a quality forum....

I assume the organisers of this knew Paul Nixon personally or were there or otherwise related to him.

Why not do it for every Palace fan who's lost their life - once each season.

Original poster obviously knew the guy pretty well, so might be an idea so show some courtesy whether you agree with the idea or not

Bit of respect wouldn't go a miss

Cheers

I meant the consequences of "ST Eric's" actions which are never mentioned in the media

Paul was 35 when he died. I get that 10 years, 20 years or 25 years would be suitable anniversaries to do something special, just can't figure out what makes 21 the year to do it.

Its more do with we are at home on the anniversary of the day he died attending a palace game.

Why then have the Scousers continually gone on about Hillsborough, however sad/horrible it was...life goes on. Oh I forgot it is Liverpool. Before I get "pelters" I had a very good friend that was there and suffered greatly from the experience.

Bloody hell,I cant believe some people.
First and foremost my aim was of remembrance of a friend who lost his life attending a football match.

I Chose 21 mins,because it was 21 years ago.
Secondly my friends are trying to trace family members with the help of facebook etc.
Also I might add that his daughter popped in our local a few years ago and thanked us for going to Walsall yearly remembering her dad our friend.

Right Vaibow the negative one!
For your information regarding charity.
We raised enough money to send a coach load of local pensioners to the coast for a day out

Also bought a football kit for a New addington little league team.

oh and a computer for a child suffering from autism.

Also I found the your second post deeply offensive considering the topic.

Dont know if your trying to smug,or a mug??
