If I get up early, 6am ish, it will take 35mins. If, however, I'm a lazy git and don't get up 'till after 7 it could take anything up to 1hr 30.
My mrs commutes from stapleton/frenchay to Harbourside. She leaves about 7.45am and arrives usually about 8.30am. However the journey home is a nightmare most evenings if she leaves at 5pm. Last week it took her nearly 2 hours to get home (without traffic she could do this journey in 15 minutes easily).

Standard commute is 1h20m door to desk. Longer on Thursdays and alternate Mondays as those include a school run. And of course longer when Southern Rail are being their usual incompetent selves....

About an hour and a quarter each way, depending on whether there's the usual Snafu between Ilford & Liverpool St. Around 40 minutes of that is walking.
Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune) |

60 minutes for me if the trains run on time. Sometimes up to 120 minutes. I can run to work in 1:45:00 though, which beats the trains on a bad day.

The construction of it is what is causing a lot of the delays she's experiencing, plus other roadworks and Mayor Ferguson's war on the motorist - wouldn't surprise me if he arranged for traffic light sequences to be sync'd for maximum disruption. They should have a park and ride somewhere on the ringroad further out than us (emerson's green?) if they want to reduce traffic flow on the M32. I don't think locals will be able to use the metro bus here according to it's proposed route/schedule?
