He was a good entertainer and had a great laugh doing it. The risk to your remaining time. Generally its a slow roll down hill, and its usually only the last months (or weeks or even days) that are probably less bearable than death. Also medical trials are very strictly controlled and usually run only with patients that have set stages of diagnosis, and even then only a third of them will receive the new medicine (one third with generally be having conventional treatment, and another third a placebo). Drug trials are very controlled. Its unusual, but not impossible, to get a drug that hasn't been approved for treatment yet (usually that's only where no known treatment exists, the prognosis is fatal and the disease is rapid - and even then as with ebola, the actual outcome of cases in the west are radically different to those with infection rates). Disturbingly, even in very serious cases of known fatal disease, remission and arrest occur, along sometimes (really rare) with spontaneous remission resulting in no further progress.

In fairness to Paul, getting off on watching your wife getting done by canines, is pretty low on the criminality scale of BBC sexual practices. Yes, any broadcasting company that gives airtime to Mrs Brown's Boys and Miranda has a lot more to answer for than turning a blind eye to bestiality.

To be fair to Debbie, I bet she didn't think she'd have to wait this long until he disappeared for good. Hats off.
