2500chf goes nowhere here, don't judge it by UK standards. If you are unemployed you get 80% of your last working wage for 400 working days if you are married, up to a limit of 10,000chf / month. (6500£) Also you get training to get back into the workplace (for foreigners tends to be German or French). Interesting idea though, bet it never happens.
