Ok, now any offence caused here is tongue in cheek. The original was poised to be offensive to Kazakhstan and neighbouring countries so I went the same route. Also, Borat's didn't really rhyme so I didn't bother.

England greatest country in Great Britain
All other countries do odd things with sheep
England number one exporter of grey clouds and drizzle
Other countries have gay looking sunshine.
England home of rugby cricket and football
We put up flags when we're doing well at one of these
And pretend we hate the other sports
England,
England,
You very nice place,
From Slough to Nuneaton you can always find a Lidl
England,
Friend of all except Scotland, Wales and the Irish people who do bombings
But Jerry Adams has mellowed in recent years
England,
Industry best in the world,
We invented curry and racism.
England,
Drunks are copious in the North,
But we'll never rival Scotland,
England,
You very nice place,
From Slough to Nuneaton you can always find a Lidl
Come hold a pig's head for our leader,
We are all f*cked and so is our pig.

Although on reflection I could definitely get with hearing 'Motorhead' by Motorhead more often, plus it'd gee the players up a bit, the way these nationalist dirges don't

I won't get carried away by two votes, but there's a slim chance that if there is a poor turn out in Parliament on the day they debate it, I might sneak it.

Yeah, maybe that could replace The Red Flag at the Labour party conferences but not the national anthem thanks.

My song BetterthanU is the natural choice.

Not contentious, just factually correct.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

Jerusalem

I had to sing it in the church at my mate's wedding and almost knew the words, or a least I did well in comparison to the actual hymns.

They're voting on having a vote though so early days.

English Rose - The Jam

No matter where I roam
I will return to my English rose
For no bonds can ever tempt me from she
I've sailed the seven seas,
Flown the whole blue sky.
But I've returned with haste to where my
Love does lie.
No matter where I go I will come back to my English Rose
For nothing can ever tempt me from she.
I've searched the secret mists -
I've climbed the highest peaks
Caught the wild wind home
To hear her soft voice speak
No matter where I roam
I will return to my English Rose
For no bonds can ever keep me from she.

I've been to ancient worlds
I've scoured the whole universe
And caught the first train home
To be at her side.
No matter where I roam
I will return to my English Rose
For no bonds, nothing and no-one can ever keep me from she

I ride a GS scooter with my hair cut neat
I wear my war time coat in the wind and sleet.
