Have been to quite a few abroad all been good just have to be careful not to upset the locals as we have had a few run ins where drunken pals overstep the mark and it kicks off. Worst part is getting flights home when you are seriously hungover. Britain is best for Stag weekends, Butlins adult weekends are brilliant for this and you do not need to pay to sleep with women as plenty to go round. Why waste money on flights when you can spend it on beer in the UK. Newcastle and Cardiff are also decent places to go.

Been there and Prague with my local football club... both very good.

Prague shaded it in terms of things to do and beers/food were cheaper.... Hamburg seemed lacking outside of the Reperbahn.

We went to the Prague Derby - Sparta v Slavia. We went up the funicular railway (20p cost) to the ground. About £2 to get in and bought loads of beer/hotdogs for under £10.

Captain Nemo's Pole Dancing club did a "finger-buffet" with one of the girls for a fiver each too.

Absolutely definitely the case. Whilst you do want to have fun, you do need someone who will actually step in where necessary to lose the 'silly drink', come back to release you from the bonds, make sure you have the money for the return fair, escort you to jail, bail you out or step in to prevent sexual assaults.

Everyone else will be quite happy to destroy your liver, kidneys as well as your dignity once they've had a few - Especially family and married friends who turn into f**king demons out to destroy you.

I think at least two stag do's I've been on would have ended up in hospital, possibly fatalities, if not for the 'Protector' stepping in. An ex-Girlfriends mate ended up being seriously sexually assaulted on his stag do, after the party paid a male prostitute in Germany.

Barcelona. It has everything and you can make it as cheap or as expensive as you want. Something for everyone and generally cheap as chips. Watch out for pick-pockets, esp around Las Ramblas.

I must agree. Of all the ones I went to, Hamburg has it all. Restaurants, bars, clubs, strip bars, more (ahem) adult themed establishments. And it's all close proximity within St. Pauli, generally around the Reeperbahn. And cheaper than back home, though you have to factor in flights.
