Race has nothing to do with it? Words of reason from a moderate and balanced voice?

Here's another emotive trite response:racism is something that actually exists in a pretty disgusting way as a core belief in the world of genuine fascists like the BNP.

So,as you can see,you are quite right.Race has nothing to do with it.Its just something in the evil imaginations of "ethnics" and "lefties"

If you want to trivialise or distort that,for the sake of some lame stereotyped anti-leftie and/or Corbyn digs as per earlier in the thread....sad you.

I'm not going to defend the moronic minds of the BNP but I am going to say that race is used to shut down debate and is in reality a scientific nonsense. Racial groupings are an epithet which either suits those wishing to separate a particular group for persecution or by the particular group itself to claim some sort of special status among others. Both are equally invalid scientifically and are only recognised by law courts who are totally unqualified to make such definitions. That is for scientists to do.

If you want to dismiss all concerns about multi culturalism and immigration as racism then you are bonkers. If genuine racists exist, who are genuinely concerned with genetics or superficial features then they must be in a tiny tiny minority. If you want to talk about religion, culture clashes and criminal elements then that might have more millage.

Is debate really stifled though? Social media exposure and plenty of airtime for Farage et al and anyone who wants to voice an opinion without a problem. Even on here counts.

Maybe the case has to be made better by those who claim to not be xenophobic when they pursue an anti-immigration or anti-EU argument in order not to be associated with the nastier bigoted lowlife out there.

If they did I for one would listen and take it on board. As it stands they don't seem to able to [argue well]. Which is why, of course, others may see them as having a hidden agenda or being in denial about certain unsavoury views they hold.
