Damage was done when Whyte was caught with a terrific "Shot" and went wobbly and the punch which put him down was a great uppercut.

The boxers did not embrace afterwards and Joshua did not want to pay him any respect when interviewed after the fight.

When's he gonna stop having set ups and fight a proper opponent?

Whyte was undefeated and a "Proper opponent". He gave Joshua some anxious moments with his power and Joshua went further than he has ever had to go before.Even the commentators were suggesting that Whyte could go far.

Think Whyte was a worthy opponent and will rebuild and do well in future. Shame that he came out with the old 'shoulder injury' excuses though. Apparently said he wants rematch as he would've knocked AJ out if his shoulder had been 100%.

He might get a rematch after the Chisora fight if they can't make the Haye or Klitschko/Fury fights work for some reason, or think they're too soon for him.

Any boxer moaning about an injury afterwards makes themselves sound foolish.

Optimistic as ever

That wouldn't surprise me to be honest. Think that Haye or Fury/Klitschko would be a bit soon for him.

Especially Haye, think he would give AJ nightmares with his movement and hand speed.
