The true shame about Jimmy Savile is that he could have been kept from polluting the human consciousness with his insipid st for generations had the police done their job properly, imagine a world without Gary Glitter.... Which to me,this has done far more damage to the British People than any terrorist combined with its banality and pandering to the lowest denominator. At least the IRA made for 'interesting times'**. I'm sure that the friends and relatives of the hundreds of people murdered by the IRA wouldn't agree with your opinion

The true shame about Jimmy Savile is that he could have been kept from polluting the human consciousness with his insipid s**t for generations had the police done their job properly, imagine a world without Gary Glitter....

Which to me,this has done far more damage to the British People than any terrorist combined with its banality and pandering to the lowest denominator. At least the IRA made for 'interesting times'.

As a family friend, i can say in good faith he is innocent to any illegal activity - in my opinion.

Although i can appreciate how it looks, anyone can make a complaint to the police and they will follow it up.
