The jumbo drinks on South Beach pack a surprising punch for an obvious tourist trap; maybe it's the fact that you should never buy one without getting one free...which you can take with you.

Lots of decent places to eat on Lincoln Row, a busy area but away from the debauchery of SB.

In Sawgrass Mills I saw a Miami Dolphins player hit his girlfriend, this was before it became popular for NFL players to hit women.

If you're looking to go to a few clubs, have a search on twitter fro promoters. You're more likely to get i places when you know people. Places on Ocean Drive are easy enough to get into.

I really do recommend you stop in Wet Willies, even if just for one Call A Cab.

Im a bit partial to Mango's myself. The bar on Ocean Drive that is, not the fruit. Always good to hit that up if all else fails, cant fail to score in there, honest

But not knowing if your a pub goer or a club goer, whether you like to dress up or its t-shirt and shorts, its hard to give advice.

Last time i was in the Clevelander, i got hit on by a gorgeous sister, took me all of three minutes to figure out what she wanted, it was probably 4 minutes into our conversation when she said "lets go up to your room and play" that gave the game away.

Personally i dont do south beach anymore, like i said, its the tourista's that go there.

Further North within walking distance is the Shore club, more up market but an interesting scene. Then there is Nikki Beach, even further up market, but oh boy.....
