Lets be honest. Most Labourites wouldn't say no to a bit of cash.

We all need it.

The working class ideal is a mythology put about by people who knew that they would never better themselves with wealthy champagne socialists cheering them on.

Nobody who has had any dealing with Ms Abbott can be under any illusions as to her priorities:
1- Diane Abbott
2- Anyone who can get her a job/consultancy/TV appearance
3- The other Abbotts.
4- Suffering in London's poorer boroughs
5- Something or other equally worthy like the 3rd world maybe...
6- Street Cred
7- Shopping
8- Holidays
9- Other sh*t
10- Everybody else.

Whilst not exactly a Blairite - or Corbynite either- she's not the real deal. She's sort of mastered the art of sincerity and sound-bites (she did that early on and hasn't added any new tricks) but her thinking (in terms of political philosophy is muddy any self centred.
How do I know this? I and a couple of colleagues interviewed her (seperately) over the space of 6 months and compared notes (1988-89).
