The reason there are a lot of so called allergies or intolerances is because the person doesn't like a certain food so will just play on that. My sister has a few food allergies including gluten and sulphites which stop her from eating and drinking a large number of things that she likes

Nope. I think people with nut allergies should wear gas masks and stop inconveniencing the rest of us.

I get terrible hayfever, particularly from rapeseed. Yes, I am allergic to rape.
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |

I used to always suffer with cold/flu like symptoms all year round. The doctors kept giving me anti-biotics. I was sent to a ear, nose, throat specialist who was quite angry with the doctors as he said there was nothing physically wrong with me. He did send me for an allergy test who found as well as tree and plant pollen I am also quite allergic to dust and dust mites. I just take allergy tablets all year round and most importantly I now know the symptoms better and don't need to go bother the doctor. Also lactose intolerent so don't stand down wind of me when I'm eating a yoghurt!
Good advice, ta Edited by Plane (16 Sep 2015 3.47pm)
