Been non stop rain in Park Royal for over an hour, don't think it will stop so looks like I might as well get some more overtime in. As above, have umbrella but no coat. Short sleeves and flat pumps on. Going to be horrible going home tonight
Been raining here all day. It's supposed to be better at the weekend so the pitch should be fine.

We had some rain overnight here in Somerset (a place rather renown for getting the worst of any rain going). No thunderstorms, no lightening and it's just been overcast and muggy all day so far with just the occasional spit and spot of rain. .......and to think the Met Office lot all got a massive bonus for their increased accuracy
A stairway to Heaven and a Highway to Hell give some indication of expected traffic numbers |

I'd really hope that with all the work done on the pitch that it would be nothing less than perfect, despite the downpours!
