As I've said on here numerous times in the past, I've rewatched that fight about three or four times and had DeGale winning, though I can see why Groves got the decision, he was in more control of the fight.

I still maintain that it was down to the quality of Adam Booth though, rather than the talent of Groves (at the time).

Ward is so far above anyone in that weight range right now, whilst it's good for DeGale to get a big fight it's too soon in my opinion, he's just reached the top, the last thing he needs now is to get dominated and lose right away.

DeGale is the more talented but I think Groves was/is mentally stronger and certainly has more of a brain on him, which meant he won the fight first time round. He boxed brilliantly against Froch first time round, and I had him a round ahead when he got knocked out in fight 2.

Let Groves win his world title against Jack and then it's up to the promoters to sort out what would be a massive rematch, certainly on the British stage, arguably as big as Groves/Froch.

I'd love to see that fight, and would back Groves purely because DeGale such a massive dickhead.

DeGale thought he just had to show up to beat Groves last time. He'd be well prepared this time and Groves has had the damage of a bad knockout since the first fight.

It'd still be a good fight though and should happen if Groves is successful in his next match.

I'm not sure why Eddie Hearn thinks Kell Brook v Frankie Gavin is worth of being PPV?

Yeah, ridiculous. Joshua is the bigger attraction but that'll last about a minute. Surely no-one is paying for that.

The more exciting attraction for sure. I actually think he might have to put a few rounds in against Kevin Johnson, never been KO'd to date and has fought Vitali, Fury and Chisora.

I'll watch on demand on the Monday, which cuts out all the crap too. You just get the ringwalk, the fight and post fight interview.

Toldja

Joshua is seriously looking like he's the real deal. Can see him fighting a Price/Chisora next and then hopefully flooring Tyson Fury.

It was somewhere in the middle of "about a minute" and "a few rounds" but that shows he has serious power.

If either of them want a payday they might, but it'll be the end of their domestic careers and neither is international quality.

Maybe Hughie Fury? Won't get Tyson until he's had his go at Wlad.
