La is a bit crap but you got to visit santa catalonia island. It's like something in the med opposite Los Angeles. No cars on the island...jist golf carts...the hotels do special 2 day deals where you get a helicopter over and ferry return..its only 45 odd minutes away. Great memories. Plus they have a zip wire across the island too. San Francisco is awesome for a single straight male. Being predominantly a gay city...once local girls know your straight and with the English accent on top of....well...I've visited 6 times all in all and slept with 5 different wpmen. It's easy. Again . If you find time to visit Vegas then you should push to visit the grand canyon. Even on my dad's death bed he went on about that place being the most magical awe inspiring place he visited ever. And I agree. It's like visiting London and not seeing a palace match...make sure you fit it in. Enjoy.

I enjoyed a day at Venice/Muscle beach when I went to LA (& Vegas)... There are loads of street entertainers and market traders selling cool stuff (vintage shades, T shirts, etc) In Vegas there is a cool restaurant near the Monte Carlo Hotel that has hundreds of Harley Davidson motorbikes going round on conveyor belts... worth seeing.

If I have one recommendation for Vegas it's have the brunch at the Cosmopolitan hotel. Just incredible. For about $20 you get literally everything from fresh cut steak to dim sum to mac and cheese to macaroons and ice cream. I found it on the last day and could have cried it tasted that good. I would eat there every day if I could!
