I think it is a lot naff for a man to carry a tote bag. My wife bought one from Coles supermarket a few years ago, it had Coles on the side and we use it for shopping at Coles!

A man should carry a man bag, on the basis that they are men.

Acceptable bags for men are:

Lap top;
Breakcase;
Attache;
Leather weekend bag;
Rucksack;
Golf.

I think he just meant ones that it's acceptable to be visible as you stroll around the shops.

Go for a stroll around the shops with a golf bag and then go for a stroll around the shops with your ballbag hanging out. See which seems to be most socially acceptable. I'll concede defeat if your b*llocks are shrugged off as normal but everyone goes "Jesus, look at that fella with a golf bag"!

"BAG FOR LIFE"
"100% RECYCLED"
then yesterday I saw a woman with one of those shopping trolly things beloved by grannies, it had:
"BAG FOR SHOPPING" on it.
My 8yr old step daughter said "Is that in case she forgets and takes a poo in it?"...had to laugh!

Your step daughter is officially funnier than 95% of the comedians currently on the TV.

I live in Western Australia where native humans don't wear shoes to restaurants, which I still find odd. I think walking around a shopping mall with scrotum on show would be acceptable.... I will wait till the weather warms up a wee bit, then let you know how it goes!

Perhaps Rolf Harris was just unaware of cultural differences too.
