Why would an ultra-radical Monotheistic Islamic movement name themselves after the Egyptian Polytheistic Goddess of Nature and Magic and Wife of Horus, Isis? Doesn't add up.

And its eid al fitr the end of Ramadan. Watch the heathens really go for it. My real concern is allowing the scumbags who are British and fighting for them being allowed back into the country *Cue they have Human rights argument* They should be allowed into the country, via remand and trial, and then allowed back into society after serving the requisite sentence for the crime.

Or the whole shebang: "The Levant , also known as the Eastern Mediterranean, is a geographic and cultural region consisting of the "eastern Mediterranean littoral between Anatolia and Egypt".[2] The Levant today consists of the island of Cyprus, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, and part of southern Turkey (the former Aleppo Vilayet)."

Washington Post,16 June: "Now, as a de-facto government, they have released a document aimed at civilians in Nineveh, a province in the country's northeast that contains the major city Mosul. Branded a "Contract of the City," the document contains 16 notes for residents. Among the 16 notes are a number of rules ranging from the benign to the worrying. Here are some of the highlights (these are paraphrased, not direct translations):

How much of this (in regions of Iraq where ISIS are present) is an unintended consequence of the overthrow of Saddam Hussein I wonder. He was a cund, but the country did seem a little more stable (I use the term loosely) Edited by nickgusset (29 Jul 2014 12.38am)

Anyone who thinks that the march of Islam, not just in the Middle East but here on our very doorstep, isn't something to worry about is living in cloud cuckoo land. Why don't we in the west wake up to this instead of trying to assimilate it? This is something that simply can't be negotiated - it must be stopped.
