A good solid home win so let us enjoy it. But I don't read more into it, just hoping it is a good omen. Surprised how poor the opposition were considering their position at the top, an early season flash-in-the-pan I think. That Tottenham defender leaving Edouard completely unmarked reminded me of some of our past efforts! Well played hoping its the start of something good, provided we keep our feet on the floor.

True, it's important not to get carried away, but still we're showing that we can hold our own against top teams. Let's hope for more of the same going forward.

Also Joel Ward's link up play with Gallagher and Ayew gave Spurs real issues in the first half and his defending was excellent

Looking how they played today, with most of these players being pretty young, imagine how dangerous they'll be when they peak, especially if Palace hold on to them.
