We were brilliant both halves, should have been at least 1-0 up in the first half before the sending off

Such exciting football ! pleasure to watch after Hodgson Boredom

A good solid home win so let us enjoy it.

But I don't read more into it, just hoping it is a good omen.

Surprised how poor the opposition were considering their position at the top, an early season flash-in-the-pan I think.

That Tottenham defender leaving Edouard completely unmarked reminded me of some of our past efforts!

Well played hoping its the start of something good, provided we keep our feet on the floor.

Look simple thing on here we’re all Palace and today’s performance was a brilliant..!!

But if we are going to continue to move forward - then there’s no place for nostalgia - you’re either good enough and at the races or you ain’t - it’s as simple as that..!!

My opinion wasn"t about todays game though, but about a great part played by said player a couple of weeks ago, and about why slag players off that were on a 3-0 winning team against Tottenham, one of our bogey teams and league leaders! Ward was good enough a couple of weeks ago, unless his form dropped dramatically today he still is, as the majority of posters on here who did watch todays game have said.

If anything can keep out feet firmly on the floor it's Liverpool away next up!!

True, it's important not to get carried away, but still we're showing that we can hold our own against top teams. Let's hope for more of the same going forward.

Also Joel Ward's link up play with Gallagher and Ayew gave Spurs real issues in the first half and his defending was excellent
Pretty sure you weren't at the game if you are criticising him

Looking how they played today, with most of these players being pretty young, imagine how dangerous they'll be when they peak, especially if Palace hold on to them.

Funny how Vieira said that Benteke played fantastically for the first 70mins, still what does he know about the players or the club compared to you?

Exactly, I don"t know why more of our fans don"t go in to top football management, instead of leaving it to ex players who only won a world cup or two, all the cups going domestically, and played for the biggest clubs!

Chelsea go 3 -o up, probably pushing us to third game tonight if we are lucky!

Chelsea were 5-1 before the season started. Looks like good odds to whoever took advantage.
