I think that Luka doesn't fit in this team any longer, as we seem to be on the path of a more balanced line up with Eze, Jairo, Andros, and one of the Macs all starters.

I agree completely. His only chance is if we go back to 4-3-3 / 4-5-1 tactics.

Yes, and it's a shame that that's the other 'ism that football hasn't addressed - after years of good, competant service as an assistant referee at this level, it's about time she was given the central role. She's earned it!

I agree, probably the best assistant referee in the league

Exactly and having seen the replays and freeze frames of it, I still have absolutely no idea how they can say that Bamford was offside. Although overjoyed with the three points, I feel embarrassed to have benefitted from such a decision.

VAR is an absolute joke and is ruining the game.

I concur. The new laws of the game combined with VAR scrutinising every goal to find a reason to disallow has gone beyond ridiculous. I watched todays game with Polish commentary so had no idea what the commentators were saying and it didn't even cross my mind that it could be offside when watching the replays. I hope teams start playing in straightjackets to prove a point to show how stupid the rules are.

Thankfully we played well today and deserved the win and the decision went in our favour, but we'll get these against us too. It's no way to win or lose a game.

About 75% of matches are dominated by a bizarre decision and the game itself is no longer the main focus.

I recently gave up watching football, unless its Palace as I just get wound up. Football is dead. Cricket is my number 1 now.

A very enjoyable game. Well done to Roy and the boys. Had a a couple of large chunks of fortune along the way and scored our goals just at the right time. But a good display none the less and could have scored a few more.

I agree but it wasn’t. We have been on the wrong end of similar decisions, away at Southampton springs to mind.

Been out this afternoon so haven't seen the game yet, but stone me, Eze starts and we begin to score goals.

I just hope that Roy doesn't think that it was too open a game and reverts to type.

Cricket is my number one now as well, but then it has an almost fool-proof DRS system, really you don't even have to think about it.

But VAR is reducing the PL to a weekly lottery, some weeks you are lucky, some not.

Jordan gives us a bit more than Batshuayi. Nice to go forward without being called offside every time. No more than an impact sub I am afraid. Good for the season on loan and then return and look elsewhere.
