A month may I remind you where we have had the most amount of missing (injuries and suspensions) players than any of the teams around us. No we weren't - we've been playing crap football all season. The tea lady could do a better job with that set of players.

The season before Hodgson took over, Liverpool finished 7th, some 25 pts behind the league winners Chelsea so well behind the top spot.Liverpool were 12th when Hodgson left after 20 games. I don't post much these days, but I have to say I'm a little bemused / ashamed of this thread. I think it's possible we'll get relegated, & our football "style" is attritional to put it mildly. but 2 points people:- 1. (minor) - I don't think l anyone else (given our squad) would be able to garner any more points from our remaining fixtures than Roy could. 2. (F-Major) - I think we owe a debt of loyalty to Roy (& Ray) for punching above our weight for 2.5 seasons now - given the shocking squad management - bad transfer window following bad transfer window ad infinitum. This thread (unfortunately) shows me that we're just the same as every other of the "91" - we should aim higher morally in. my opinion. & yes, he should go in the summer No doubt Parish will f-up (again) but offering out of date goods a further shelf extension (Pards, Benteke).

Finding the new manager is for the football oracle Freedman to find and decide along with the football and strategy nous of Parish seeing as he’s so good at football strategy cost effectively. (In the summer. Put up with the decline of Roy for this last ordeal)

2 very inactive transfer windows suggest there is some restriction in our spending ability presently. Roy may not be happy but hasn't run off like some other managers. If this is going to be a similar situation next season then Roy's quotes about talks concerning contract extension are credible. I'm not sure any new manager will come in under those circumstances but Roy might well stay, suiting the owners.

But I’d 100% not extend his employment this summer. His shelf life here is well and truly done. He’s now a turkey unsold on 27th December with a use bu date of Boxing Day.
