But he may wish to stay in London and link up with our French connection, rather than Leeds ,who are also reportedly interested.

He has already told numerous people they are wrong on this on more than one occassion and even has done so this morning! there are just many people who know he is wrong and are letting him know their opinion despite his constant denial. Pardew's comments again would prove he is wrong.

The thread is about (as I see it!) whether or not Flamini will sign for Palace in the DM role Jedi used to occupy. Given that there's com petition for his signature across Europe its going to be a question as to whether Flamini wants to stay in London, and whether the role he would occupy in the Palace squad is one he wants to fill. Fingers crossed!

Have to say i'd be extremely happy with Flamini in the squad.

Should he join we'd have a player that would be more than happy to receive the ball deep and move it on just as he's been doing for Arsenal all these years.

Just the type of player Pardew should be after to effect this 'transition' from being playing a "Direct" style of play to a more "Possession based" one.

How much longer before Flamini makes a decision as to which club best suits his interests.
Nantes the latest club to be linked will give him an opportunity to return to his homeland.
Currently linked with numerous clubs including AC and the mighty Leeds United.

It's now being reported that Nantes have expressed an interest in him. So it's argued that a move to his homeland may be favoured. But he was born in Marseilles and only played for Marseilles before joining Arsenal. Nantes is over 600 miles from Marseilles.
Playing in Europe is also said to be an attraction. Well not with Nantes who finished 8th last season and didn't qualify for Europe. Nor with AC Milan (his former club also rumoured to be interested) who finished 7th and also didn't qualify.
