Just been looking at the latest figures and it seems its "full steam ahead" for Boy Blairs idea of immigration.....AND open door routine.....
They're fining lorry drivers now. What with fining the homeless too, they certainly know how to address root causes. If you look at the chart Nick you will see the problem started when "Boy Blair" came to power in 97 and its been on the increase ever since, poor old Dave is doing his utmost to sort the mess out but with all the things signed up to in 97 by the Labour party he has his hands tied up a bit.. Quotas should have been stated from the start not just given a free for all
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

No Maastricht = more border control. Blame your side.

So after reading through the reams of shyte from certain useful idiots on here it's quite obvious that we should be calling Taylor Wimpey to build a huge bridge across the channel, down with the wire fences, to hell with border controls, let's let everyone in and to hell with the consecquences.
I don't like to call people out on here but Kermit definitely said we should let everyone in because we can put them in army barracks. He was possibly drunk. Everyone else seems reluctant to single out any type of migrant who they wouldn't welcome. Presumably they wouldn't deny entry to benefit/health tourists for example because they don't exist or don't take that much anyway, or take less than other migrants contribute. Again that argument is irrelevent and ultimately amounts to accepting everyone. So how about you tell me who you wouldn't take in?
I was just answering your query about where we could put the Calais migrants should they get here. It happened here with refugees from WW2. The old barracks as accommodation.

I'm actually surprised Dave hasn't privatised the Calais problem and paid SENCO or G4S to go in and sort it out. Both companies have an excellent track record.

Was unaware of this, the article I read made it sound like a new thing.

Also, I do wish those that complain about not being able to say what is on their mind because of a fear of going against political correctness would grow a backbone, stop moaning about it, and speak and ignore the hissyfitters.

I think you will find that they have been fining Drivers since I think 2002. Indeed Only 17% of the £4m in fines were issued to British drivers.

The difference would be that they'd have to start providing the service rather than taking it over.

It's time for this nonsense to stop. This government, just like it's predecessor has proved weak and ineffective in dealing with this problem and as a result it has now spiralled out of control. Our truckers are routinely threatened by gangs of feral asylum seekers, riots take place on a regular basis. You can hardly blame the French for being p*ssed off with us for causing this mayhem due to our lax rules and generous benefits system. Why doesn't somebody take ownership of this problem rather than let it fester on like it is. The French could do something about it for starters, but they are about as helpful as the French usually are.
