Shows how well Dave and Co did doesn't it.

They're fining lorry drivers now. What with fining the homeless too, they certainly know how to address root causes.

If you look at the chart Nick you will see the problem started when "Boy Blair" came to power in 97 and its been on the increase ever since, poor old Dave is doing his utmost to sort the mess out but with all the things signed up to in 97 by the Labour party he has his hands tied up a bit.. Quotas should have been stated from the start not just given a free for all

No, that spike is because the Tories signed us up to a deal years earlier that always going to be enacted later on with more EU members coming aboard.

I think you will find that they have been fining Drivers since I think 2002.
And it was under Labour.
It was mainly to discourage the overseas drivers.
If the country sorted the mess out in France,then the poor b****** drivers would not have to put up with what they are.

We are so overcrowded. Why do you think all the premier clubs are capacity crowd these days? All our roads are chock a block. I’ll bet there are far more in this country than the stats show. Probably as much as 5 million unaccounted. Its out of control and I haven’t got a solution that will be accepted by the PC brigade, which is most posters here and most people in this country. I am proud to say I am not PC. Its whats ruined this country. None of us non PC dare say what we think anymore because we will be shot down by the do gooders PC lot.
