Matthew - I've been out for a few hours and find you have name-checked me three times. Shucks- My self-righteousness wants to challenge your self-importance.
We know that and accept it.

Is it up my arris? I'd take a f***ing truncheon up the arris for the HOL. Or an umbrella. I would open an umbrella up inside my arris for the HOL.

And didn't public spending rise from 35% to 46% of GDP?" "Yeah, but you can prove anything with facts. I prefer to base my views on instinct and blind prejudice"

The net contribution is questionable. Those are cheery picked statistics. The number of immigrants we have has fueled the housing crises and increased accommodation costs. Building new houses costs a lot more than the tax they bring in.

Building new houses costs a lot more than the tax they bring in. Unless they are entrepreneurs and/or creating new jobs, they're working in jobs that are already available to fill, and sometimes working for less pay. UKIP are objecting to the quantity, which applies to PAYE cases I'm talking about here or building site 'self employed.'

God knows what the competition is like for low skilled or semi skilled positions in high immigration areas. In short those who support continued unrestricted immigration are supporting and have supported policies that have reduced the life chances of the working class and made their lives harder. No one outside of themselves really believes Labour are a working class party anymore.....The minimum wage was a decent thing....That's about it. Edited by Stirlingsays (05 May 2014 10.40am)
