A much needed win, which we could have let slip. The strange thing is we are not playing that well, but for conceding the late goal to Brighton and the dodgy penalty to Everton we would be joint top. Things ain’t so bad!

Very true. Roy needs to find a way to get Eze starting.

We were told that by Leicester supporters when we signed him He can use his head to score though and his feet are also very good at it, and he bloody well doesn't muck about with side to side and up and down ..goes straight for the throat! his only drawback is retention.

What you get with Schlupp is his directness in going forward, he is very quick and catches defenders flat footed. I like him he gives us another dimension....

Unfortunately, I can't see RH dropping to just one DM so as to allow both Schlupp and Eze to play - it would weaken 'the system' too much.

Jeff has a Fabulous Left foot shot on him...underrated in my opinion.. they’ve just got to fit Eze into the lineup though... too good.... he’ll also score a lot of goals!!

Jeff Schlupp is well liked by Roy because he is very versatile and generally reliable. He was a left back remember and can play in various positions, good at tackling and quick, with a good shot. I like him a lot, don't see this "doesn't have a football brain".

He seems to be more consistent in his performances for us now too as well and I do like his direct approach, which is otherwise often lacking in our approach play.
