Roy needs to step down before he gets sacked on Tuesday.

We are not yet assured of safety but on our last three performances don't look like getting any more points this season. The irony could be swapping places with Villa in the bottom 3 when they beat us.

You think we could go down with 42 points?

I want Hodgson to succeed just as I want Palace to.
On one level the season has a been a success in that we secured safety long before we ever have done so before.

However, we have been skating on thin ice for a while, and to take the metaphor a bit further, that ice is rapidly melting.

Despite our mid table position how often have we watched a fully convincing performance by Palace this season?

At the moment it is hard to see how Roy is going to revive our fortunes before the next season starts without a substantial change in playing personnel which probably won't happen. We have been laid bare over the last three games - okay you can forgive the Liverpool showing, but the Burnley and Leicester games have been woeful and glaringly displayed the shortage of skill in this squad.

I really now do wonder if Roy has the tools in his kitbag to turn things around,

We are quite to start worrying now ahead of next season if nothing changes.

And how good were Burnley & then Leicester today.. any reasonable team would have beat both....
Like many could be said.. enough is enough,, we are going backwards!!

Yes. Time to go.

Did not touch the ball in the box against Liverpool. One shot on target against Leicester. With an £80m player in Zaha, £30m in Benteke, and established Internationals Ayew and Townsend across the front, that is truly appalling.

Too slow in possession, fannying around at the back. The squad is too old, the kids don’t get played in meaningless fixtures. I am afraid the game has passed Roy by. Change him before next season or panic 10 games in when we are in the bottom 3 and fire him then. Serving up more of this will get us nowhere.

His job is to motivate the players, and it is clearly obvious that he is unable to do that.

I am saying we are not guaranteed safety yet ... and certainly should not be producing three indifferent performances on the trot. On the evidence of those results we could lose all five of the games left including what might end up being a six pointer against Villa. If Villa won all their games and beat us we could go down. Yes.

I am very concerned about next season.
The ageing squad needs a significant overhaul and our transfer coffers are hardly filled to the brim.

I could see Roy leaving anyway if the squad is not seriously refreshed during the off season.

No creativity in midfield, which has been like that for a long time, and no regular threat up front.
