The IOUSA, as with many western nations, is a very unhappy place. Trump getting in office has been nothing more than a catalyst for many unhappy people to finally vent their anger.........at pretty much everything.
Many years of zero wage growth, job insecurity/lack of employment, rising prices, personal debt increases, robbing Peter to pay Paul etc etc have led to a frustrated nation. The people are pissed, and rightly so, but instead of venting this anger at the real problem, they are directed elsewhere. ''Be angry with this, be angry with that'' they are told..............and right on cue, they follow.
In this eco-friendly world (pfft), what a bloody absolute waste of time and energy.

You're on the money with this. It's sad how it's contorted people too tied up in their left - right politics have become. The more susceptible to bias the worse it is.

It will sound stupid but I've gained a real appreciation of late for people who aren't overly political and just get on with life. All people do when they buy into sets of beliefs that are fed to them is lose their own identity.

And yes Trump is a manifestation and unfortunately an amplifier of this.
