The right to protest is a "human right", it's not democracy.

Lol - Yes of course that's what happened. Its always the fault of the Police. Say that did happen, would that really be an excuse for all the police officers to be set on? didn't 17 go to hospital afterwards? these coppers (whatever you think of them) are just normal blokes who want to go home to their families after a shift, not hospital. Next time one of these 'protests' takes place I have a good mind to go up with a couple of choice mates from the boxing club and kick the living s*** out of a couple of these middle class pricks and see how tough they really are.

There are of course some bad apples, just like some protestors are. There's no point painting either group as purely trouble makers though. As usual most stuff posted on both sides of the argument here is so polarised.

I've also seen reports (on facebook- I've been looking, but buggered if i can find it!)from recent protests that 'protesters' have been in the crowd, thrown bottles then gone to the police line, shown id and been let through cordons.
I'd imagine police are pretty worried about what the new Government are going to do to them, so it must be strange for those on the force who agree with the premise of any protests.

Shocking, it's just like Nazi Germany. When do you think we will all be arrested and sent to a concentration camp? Should be setting up an 'allo 'allo style resistance group?

I don't think I've ever known a time in the Police where a government was more hated than this one. As for Theresa May I think she would probably get lynched if she attended any Police Station in England. Not even allowed to say her name in the police station.. she's referred to as a certain other name which I won't repeat on here.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |
