They were far too far appart. But what would another player do in the same situation?

Sometimes it's an individual error. Other times circumstances end up in a player being hung out to dry and the fans crucify him.

Spurs had almost caught us out a few times with a high press as we tried to play it out. Was bound to happen sooner or later.

We have been crucified in the middle nearly every game the 2 of them play together. I know there was no choice but to play them again today but I for one hope I don’t have to see them in the same starting 11 again.

100% I’m over it, I wouldn’t be disappointed if he came to us. He might be quite a good fit, ex player and internationally Wales are probably similar to palace as in punch above their weight.

Parish will never appoint Coleman imho. I am coming round to the idea of Eddie Howe - although he could be one of those managers who only do well at the one club where they put their roots down, bit like Darren Ferguson at Posh, or Lawrie McMenemy at Southampton if you go back that far! He has a mixed recording spending but he did find David Brooks who I wouldn't mind having in our midfield.

Isn’t he off to Celtic?

TBH mate if we had a reasonably fit squad he would not play.

Story of the last two seasons. Reidewald isn't too bad on the ball but his mobility is crap. Luka can but in a defensive shift but his mobility is also crap. The obvious solution would seem to be play someone else who's mobile and good enough on the ball to help them both out. Like a Jedi/KG and Garvin situation. Ayew and Eze seem the best option. Meyer and Camarassa were ones we never really gave a fair crack of the whip to.

I think Spurs were much better than Liverpool in the 7-0 today and the defeat wasn't as bad. I guess that's progress.

Back to Coleman.... Two premiership managers have been sacked this season, there's got to be a lot of guys who've been stuck at home with their wife's for the last year, knowing Roy's contract is coming to an end, eyeing us up as a great opportunity to get out of the house and earn some money. The only other likely openings coming up are Newcastle and Brighton, if they both stay up.

Yep, it was noted. He clearly still has a soft spot for his old club.

Another old boy as our manager? Might just work.

Well not the result we were looking for, but I could see some positives out on that pitch tonight. So their first goal mistake by us gifted it to them and things didn’t look great, but with 10 minutes to go in the first half we went forward and created some pressure.

Tekkers goal, text book header perfect, thought second half keep them pressed back, but two world class goals and they were world class, was our undoing.

If Wilfs strike comes back off the post and hits the keepers back and goes in, that makes it 3-2 and it’s game on still. Unfortunately it didn’t and they went onto make it 4-1.

Overall we were more offensive than we have been for a while and I am sure we will be back on winning trail again soon...

Maybe so, but I still don't feel the same fight we normally have this season

1) A lot of teams seem to be lacking fight at this point in the pandemic-addled season.
2) For all his flaws, McArthur always brings more fight to the action.
3) On attack, I thought we connected passes better in the 2nd half than we have in a while. It helps that Spurs play sloppy defense.

Incredible acceptance of a 4-1 defeat. God knows what we do in training but it’s definitely not passing!
and again no animation from our manager from the touch line, just f*****g stands there looking non plussed.

What you like from him? A puppet show on the side line?

Ray does the shouting and always has done,
